Leather is a natural product and as such will change over time. This leaves you with a unique, one of a kind design that with good care will serve you for many years.
In order to keep your new leather item in top condition, prolonged exposure to heat and sunlight should be avoided so as to prevent it from drying out.
Maintain your favourite leather pieces regularly to ensure they remain soft and supple with a regimen of leather care products designed to clean, condition and protect. Alternatively, a simple hand cream or low odour oil such as coconut or flaxseed can be used sparingly to moisturise leather when it becomes dry
We recommend conditioning your leather at a minimum of every 6 months. If you are in a drier (hot or cold) climate please condition your product as soon as it feels less supple, dull or faded. Vegetable tanned leather when conditioned should feel slightly oiled and look rich. Similar to the nature of skin it needs to be moisturised as soon as it feels dry
We will have our own range of leather care products coming soon.
